I've just spent half an hour combing the archives looking for a detailed *informative* posting on swapping the "i" head onto a 2.7 eta bottom end. Can someone please tell me *everything* I need to know about doing this swap correctly? I'm building the engine to SCCA improved touring class specs (stock bottom end, stock cam and valve train required) I've balanced and blueprinted the bottom end, everything else is open for tweeking. I've got a rebuilt 2.5 head, cam, valve train, intake, throttle body, injectors, and header. One of my immeadiate questions is: how much can I shave this head to help restore the compression? I'm fine so long as I dont exceed the stock ETA ratio. Any other secrets to this swap would be appreciated!
