: what year bottom end is it? Because from 6/87 or so on the 2.7 engine used the 2.5 head. that's why we have the super eta. different pistons were made for those bottoms so it wouldn't lose compression. the only thing is that it used the eta intake and cam, and the single valve springs.

It's a 1986 eta bottom end... I believe I need to shave the head to maintain 9:1 compression ratio... the question is, how much?
