intermittent wiper doesn't work ... (archive)

all the way. It stops at about near the end of the swing-up cycle,( with the wipers rested on the windshield, pauses for around a minute, finishes it, then swings back to the rest position. The continuous settings work just fine. I lubes all the joints, didn't help at all. TIA for any idea to fix this.
