pwr. windows not working Y? (archive)

hi i checked #17 fuse, i'm still not getting any kind of responce, no motor sound or anything? the windows were working but then out of no where they just weren't opperating, y, what could it be any advise? i own a 86 325e, thanks in advance .....fernando..... fernando001@webtv.net.. should a burned fuse be a brownish color on the metal tip?,,,, i haven't found own like thant
