: first of all what year is it? later 87's and up were super e's that had an "i" head on it but it used different pistons so it wouldn't lose compression. can't just bolt it on and go. unless you supercharged it for the earlier year mod's

how can i tell,if its a "super e",if i understand correctly, this has the same head as the "i",therefore i need to only sort the compression...if its not ,get a "i"head and skim/shave the block...is this correct ?
are the "e" and "i" pistons the same ?
