My regulator did not failed for me,
but my hose that goes to the intake broke and I did not notice any big dirrerent, the engine got alitte bit more air in the broke vacuum hose but! I have tested unplug the regulator and did not notive any different!,, I think the regulator opening mutch more in high RPM? But I thought I would notice something when I unpluged the regulator!,,, I guess the engine isadjusting itself very very quickly so I don't notice!

: : Yeah, my guess is that they would fail in the off position since you need engine vacuum to open it any way.

: If it does not fail either open or closed, but regulates pressure 4 psi low (10%), would there be a significant effect on performance? Have any of you measured the pressure (engine running) when the car is performing normally?
