I have 1990 325I with about 78K miles on it. For the past few months it will make a "popping" or "clunking" noise when I make a left hand turn. I won't make the noise when the car is just sitting and you turn the wheel. The noise only comes when you are moving and make a left turn. I have already replaced the control arms, balls joints, and control arm bushing and it still makes the noise. Anybody have any ideas on what it could be?? BTW the local BMW dealer couldn't find the source either.

Thanks,
John
