X3 Sport Ready To Climb.... (archive)

Well, we have been cleared to test our hybrid M3 on Pikes Peak. The website launches on April 16. Sorry for the delay, but I still need to write a few more JAVA applets to finish the site. For those of you who are not aware, last year I started a team - for the sole purpose of winning the hillclimb for
BMW, the US, and lastly myself. A recent inheritance made this team possible- a longtime dream of mine. The car was the hardest part of this whole project. It cost us almost
$600,000 to design, build, test, and destroy this car..at least twice! As of today, the official entry to the Pikes'
Peak Open Class Event is as follows;
