Never reuse torx head bolts,at 20-23.00 they are cheap enough. Go by the specs, 22ft lbs the torque angle in 2 steps

: Aloha guys!

: Am almost ready to bolt up a rebuilt head on a recently acquired '90 325i. A Porsche mechanic friend said I could reuse the existing torx head bolts and just torque up everything to 55 ft.lbs. following the torque sequence.

: My Bentley manual doesn't mention anything about reusing old bolts, but did describe "angle-torquing" the head bolts. Anyone have any experience with this?

: TIA for your answers.
