Hi. I recently bought a 87 325is. I have actually
only seen it in pictures, but I take posession of it
this weekend (it is at home, I am at school). My old
car is a VW GTI (which is now for sale if anyone wants
one).

Question is: the bimmer has the factory stereo and I am
told it doesn't work so well. Have also heard that it
is a pain in the ass to install a stereo in this car.
Is this true? I have a Pioneer CD unit in my GTI which
I would like to switch if it is easily done. If not,
I will probably wait until I see a sale on a unit that
includes installation in its price. I have installed
about a dozen stereos in VWs but never one in a BMW.
Is it really as hard as I have heard? Please advise,
