I have a 1985 325e that I am rebuilding and cleaning up. I came a across a few problems doing this, here they are...

Removing the nasty carpet: do I have to yank the dash out before I take it out?
Aluminum trim around windows and rain gutter: Do i need a special tool to remove the rain gutter and trim? I have to replace them since they lost all their shine, what are some places that sell them?

I am also thinking about changing out the suspension with a M3's, and also thinking about doing some engine mods... Any ideas will be appreciated
