: I have a 1985 325e that I am rebuilding and cleaning up. I came a across a few problems doing this, here they are...

: Removing the nasty carpet: do I have to yank the dash out before I take it out?
: Aluminum trim around windows and rain gutter: Do i need a special tool to remove the rain gutter and trim? I have to replace them since they lost all their shine, what are some places that sell them?

: I am also thinking about changing out the suspension with a M3's, and also thinking about doing some engine mods... Any ideas will be appreciated

: Thanks,
: Jon

The trim removal tool from BavAuto or BMPD (not sure which one) works wonders. It makes things much easier - get it.
Are you thinking about changing the suspension with an M3's or just putting some M3 springs and shocks on there? Probably the latter since the former requires thousands of $$'s of work and fabrication. M3 springs and Bilstein HD shocks are a good upgrade to give more crisp handling.
