Sorry I don't have any helpful info. Good luck!

: Was going to buy and install a conversion kit for my 85 318i. Talked to my local (and trusted) mechanic about draining the old freon out of the system. He told me not to convert the car's A/C account of previous problems with operating and maintenance problems on converted systems. Would like to do the right thing for the environment, but... Anyone have experience with converting the A/Cs on older 3 series cars ? Everything work allright after conversion ? Advice ? Suggestions ?
: TIA
: Wolfgang
