It looks to better to the extent that you no longer have a piece of ill-fitting, poorly color-matched (faded) piece of tagboard hanging under there. It does support the gong speaker, so you'll need to hang it from one of the many wires under the dash..Its purely temporary, when i sel the car, I'll pop it back in, or maybe before..

: Does it really look good? I like this idea, but I don't want to wind up with an atrocity. Can you put it back in after? (If you take it out carefully, of course) What is under there? You are a brave soul, i reckon.

: : : In my 87 325, the bottom portion of my dash ( I don't know if it is reall considered dash.), you know, that cardboard like paned that is pretty shoddy, screwed in in several places, well anyway, It is coming loose, and it hangs down low enough that my feet get under it while clutching and braking. It is damn dangerous! I have tried to find a way to attach it back up to the position, but I can't come up with anything. I had the same problem on my e21 320i, so I bet a lot more people know what I am talking about as well. Does anyone know a good way to fasten it in place, out of my way?

: : : Thanks a bunch.
