Questions for everybody:
have an '89 325i Coupe 5sp.

When starting the car cold, it will rev from 400-900 or so. Everytime it falls to 400, it nearly stalls. Normally it idles at ~750.

After the car is warmed up, it revs from 1700-2200 or so.

While driving, unless the accelerator is pressed firmly, the car jerks a bit - even at freeway speed and especially when lifting the throttle.
