Kids,
I broke down ann reflowed the solder on my hokey Speedo unit today since I am replacing the dash tommorrow. I figured while I had it out, I would do the SI batteries
as well. This is where everything went FUBAR. Seems the Previous Owner had been suckered by the dealer and bought a whole new Board. The board had a date of "11.90" stamped on it. So I got a newer board, good right? Well the batteries on this board are 3v Sanyo Lithium Ions, not the Varta 1.5 volts, so I have to special order them, Radio Shack doesn't even stock them. DRAT DRAT DOUBLE DRAT ( thats not what I am really saying, what I really said is not fit for the forum!) I refuse to buy another board! Anyone have any suggestions as to where to get this friggin batteries?
num on batteries is CR14250SE. Any help here would be greatly appreciated, I already kicked the dog, but that didn't help!
