: of course the extra horsepower would be nice, but does the extra weight of a 6cyl adversley effect the handling? Im much more interested in handling than flat out HP.

: Im a bit partial to 4 bangers because of the relitively cheap maintance, gas consumption etc. 138hp doesnt sound grossly underpowered to me personally, and Ive had a ton of fun with my '02 which only puts out a pathetic 105 hp. like I said, handling is much more important to me.

: oh yes, correct me if Im wrong.. the iS series includes a multivalve engine that puts out more hp than a stock 318i, right?
