early 318i questions (archive)

I am looking at a couple of early 318i's and what are the week spots of these cars.
Does any one have a site like the 02 board on what to look for when buying a used one.
I have the ability to repair the car. So I would like to see what I might be getting into. This car will for my daughter as a first car. I just did not get the 02 done in time.
