: Can anyone tell me if a chip in a 87' 325e would make a noticeable differance in performance, and which one would you recommend, ie Dinan,

we tested both the Jim Conforti and the Autothority chip (Korman autoworks) on my slightly modified eta engine and found both to boost peak power in the 20 HP range. However, the Jim C chip had a very eratic torque curve and surged, while the Autothority chip pulled more evenly through the rpm range. I ebayed the Jim Conforti chip.
