After chating with Wes (hartge@aol.com) who runs the Unofficial Hartge site, here is what happens.

You can upgrade with M3 parts or with E36 parts.

With M3 parts, you will need the struts and the knuckles, which are shorter and quicker, 51mm shocks, M3 tie rods, rear axle shafts and M3 hubs and calipers.

With the E36 parts, you will need E36 325 front parts and E36 ti or Z3 rear parts. The good stuff with the E36 way, is that you can simply bolt-on E46 rotors and calipers which are bigger and vented at the back. And imagine M Coupe brakes on your E30 325i.

I will keep you posted after I have discussed with Zionsville.
