I do, however run solo II on a regular basis, and do the occasional drivers school, when I've got the time and cash. I usually run DSP, although I've been running STS (street touring) this season, due to my R compounds being shot to hell. Street tires suck, btw.

That's me right there, granted you don't see much of my face, but I figured with some of the people on this board, it's better I don't advertise my face.
Anyone got $400 they're willing to donate to me for a set of Kuhmos would be greatly appreciated, you could write it off to the IRS as part of the "save the assholes" fund.

: : Run, don't walk away from this peice of garbage.
: : The idiot that came up with this thing is Mark Kibort, all you veterens of the UUC digest know this guy well. All you newbies might wonder why typing the word "kibort" will make your post bounce.
: : This guy is a clueless putz, who thinks that spamming public lists for 6 months is good publicity.
: : As for the "electric supercharger" itself, it's a joke. Go home, cut a hole in your airbox, and duct tape a hair dryer to it, you will get the same effect. That's literally what this thing is. It's an electric fan that hooks to your airbox, and runs off the alternator. I assume it's supposed to give a "Ram air" effect, but you have to figure that any negligible HP gain you might get is offset by the drain on the alternator.
: : Oh, and it is a negligible HP gain. One guy on the list actually bought one for shits and giggles, hooked it up, dynoed it (e36 325is), and the results: A whopping .4 hp increase on the dyno, and that could probably be accounted for by atmospheric conditions. But hey, it is a guarenteed negligible HP gain.

: Charlie,
: You seem to know auto mechanics in a practical sense. Do you have pics of your SCCA showroom stocker? We'd like to see if you put into practice what you preach here daily.
