Hi all, after replacing the center bearing on my 86 325es, my mechanic has declared that I must now replace the entire driveshaft as it continues to produce loud rumblings upon acceleration. The guibo was also replaced at that time (not sure if this is the same as the U-joint). He says that the shaft is rotating slightly off center. Can anyone validate this claim, and if so, where can I best go for a new or rebuilt one? Thanks for replies.
