Convertables are heavier than non convertables so the springs are a little stiffer. if you put non convertable springs on a convertable the car will sag more and the ride will be too soft (lots of bottoming). It will be lower. Aftermarket springs are available for both convertable and non convertable which will lower the car as specified.
