The Forged crank will allow for a higher redline due to it's increased strength ..if thats what you are going for ... But you still need to look at balancing the entire rotating mass and other performance mods to enhance the forged crank ... By high RPM's I'm talking 9-10K ...
Otherwise a good cast crank will give you adequite performance ...
: if you would stick with the cast crank then why is the forged so much better. im going to put the i cam and springs in, also thinking about the intake manifold and throttle body, and i have the i exhaust installed from headers back. what would be a good new redline for me to have with that and my cast crank? what would be better about having a forged crank?
