I had the same problem, and when i tried to run the AC the car would oveeerheat, i took it to the mechanic and it cost me $90.00 to get it fix.
Problem found fuse #18 (i think fan fuse)was blowing up and no current to the fan, if i jumped the fan it was working fine.
So try to to put direct battery voltage to the fan and see what happen.
