: I have a 1989 325I, the brake lining lite came on, so i brought it in for brakes, they replaced the front brakes, but they couldn't shut of the brake lining lite, after 3 weeks, i bought it back, and they thought possible, the rear brakes need to be changes, so the then did the rear brakes, now my lite is still on, they replaced the sensor lite, but i'm having a problem with my brakes sqelling, and only periodically, could they have damaged my calibers in the repair....need advice before i end up having to take it to BMW
Pattie,
You say "they". If this was an independent shop not familiar with BMW they may have put pads in that will always squeal. All pads are not created equal. They may have replaced with the cheapest pads available.
