first push date button then use a pen and push in that little pin thing at the bottom right of the computer then set the date and time.

2...how do I chnage the little computer from metric to standard?

while you are setting push the consum. button and then push in that little button with the pen again and the 00 should have a slash through them, I can't remember if 00 are suppose to have the slash or not to be in metric or standard, just try it a couple of times. good luck.
