325es Head bolts-Am I crazy? (archive)

I have an 86 325es that I've owned since new. It has 160,000 miles and runs great. There is a small oil leak out of the back of the head but very little considering the age of the car. I am about to do the yearly valve adjustment and am considering changing the head bolts to the new design. Am I crazy or should I leave well enough alone?

I have a surgeon friend that once taught me a lesson. He said that "the enemy of good is better".

What are your thoughts?
