My car has the orginal radio in it. Here is the problem. I think what I did wrong was, the car wasn't turned on, and I put a tape in the car. I started the car up and went to take it down to the mechanic. Everything was fine. I took the tape out, and the anti theft started to beep. I thought none of this and parked it the garage. Once I got the car back, the radio was fine. Next day, got into my car. Everything was fine but...the tape deck is reading AM SBD. I can listen to my tape, but I can't change to FM, or change the channels. Today, AM SBD is still on the raido, tape is stuck in there, I hit eject and it wont read the command. I disconnected the battery, connected it again. And its supposed to read CODE. It didn't read it. I don't know whats wrong with it?

I read that if you put a tape in the car without starting it, it can cause damange to the radio. I just read that, but...it worked before without any problems.

BTW, the tape isn't a music tape. Its a CD to Tape thing. (Put tape in tape deck, wire from the tape goes into the back of the CD player, and plays CD)

When I play a CD, the sound is VERY soft.

Please Help. I hope I describe as much details as I can.

Thanks,

Michael Abrahams
