Hi all,

Can anyone offer any sage advice re a leaking driver's side cowl vent?

Ran the garden hose into it. Most water drains out the bottom of the car but some drips steadily inside, near a big square-ish grommet above the clutch pedal.

Maybe the drain was clogged for years, until a new hole rusted through?

Question is, how do I fix this? From above, I can't even *see* the drain to clear it and patch the hole, only the passageway that leads to it.

I'm thinking I may have to stuff something in there to plug it up completely, relying on the pass side to drain the water. Or drilling a new drain somehow.

Any comments greatly appreciated!
