I must have drove through the Bermuda Triangle.... (archive)

I took a medium length drive tonight in my 325es(35 miles) with a few, shall we say, spirited episodes above 100mph.

Now, I have smoke spewing out my exhaust on startup, the mpg gauge is flipping back and forth like a metronome at idle, and there is a slight tick to the water temp gauge also. Oh and the intermittent hissing sound under the hood. Did I lose a vaccum line, or something to make it run like this?? It's also idling like it has an Isky drag cam in it.....

What in sweet Gentle Jesus's name did I do???? Any help is appreciated, and since it's going in for a new timing belt this week anyhoo, I will probably have my man look at this odd automotive possession....... TIA.
