Trouble shooting chime module? (archive)

I have too much time on my hands and want to know why chime doesn't work for doors open, lights on, etc. Anyone have any comments on how to test or what to look for? (I have circuit tester). I know how to get to chime module.

Also, "fasten seat belt" light doesn't work, although wiring is plugged in under seat. Any comments?

Bentley didn't seem helpful for these things.
