90 325i low idle after battery failure (archive)

Purchased car in January with 90,500 miles. Now 95,000
miles and ran beautifully in interim. Went away last week and left rear door ajar. Returned and battery (new) drained by interior light. Started fine on jump. Ran for ten minutes and on driving idle at 400 RPM - stalling on stop. After driving 20 miles idle up to 500 RPM. Drive another 10 miles and idle up slightly under 700 and steadier. Any thoughts? I know they don't like to sit, but does this make sense? What do I expect tomorrow?
