: : The outer lamp has the Hi and Low beam inside, that is why there is three wires connecting to it as appose to the two on the Hi beam. Replace the bulb and it will be good.

: I switched the right side bulb with the left and that didn't work. I guess it could be the wire in the plug. I'll have to find a multimeter to test some things I guess.

You could also have a bad fuse for the right side, check out #14 If it a ground problem the high would not come on! Check between the fuse box and the lamp, the color is Yellow/Blue.

: : If you are reving the engine at a stand still and you here this noise, it can't be anything in the drive line. You failed to mention if you have an auto or manual, if it is a manual, could be the throw out bearing going bad.

: I have a manula tranny. Hmm throwout bearing, how can I find out for sure other then guess and replace.

Does it go away when you push in the clutch?
