I have a 1987 325i 5 speed and I took it on a 200+ mile trip yesterday. As I go to my destination, everytime I would start off in 1st gear, I would get a strange rumble like something was loose, but this noise would go away after I shifted to 2nd gear. I thought it was the e-brake or maybe even the driveshaft. Any help here ? Cost on repairs ?
