I see the two rubber ones you are talking about. if I get a U shaped tube and put on there this will bypass the heater core and I will no longer have this problem. What will happen when I turn on the heater? It wont explode b/c there is no coolant will it? And this will not mess up anything else right. If there is a recall does that mean I get it fixed for free? I would rather bypass it b/c I live so far away from the dealer.
