Firstly, read the rule book before doing any mods. I did so before building my L Stock '84 325E. As Joel mentioned, there are some things you listed that are not allowed in the Stock catagory.
Here is basically how I built my car.
1. Found an '84 325E project fixer-upper to be a weekend fun car. 140,000 miles
2. Did all fluids and belts, including the timing belt.
3. Installed E30 M3 Springs and Bilstein Sports.
4. Bought and installed various missing and/or broken interior parts.
5. Good "used car lot" paint job
6. Made decision to race car. Found an Autopower Bolt-in cage that a friend was taking out of his E30. Installed cage, fire extinguisher, MOMO seat, seatback brace.
7. Installed E30 M3 rear antiroll bar and ic front bar.
8. Mounted Yoko AO32's on the stock bottlecap wheels. I drive it to the track and around town every weekend. A good all around tire, I'll get a set of Kumhos next year.
9. Already had all my safety gear (helmet, suit, etc) from 7 years of SCCA IT racing.
10. ATE powerslot front rotors, stock rear. Hawk Blue racing pads front, stock rear. Needed ducts at Carolina Motorsports Park, no where else.
If you have any specific questions feel free to get back to me personally.
Good luck,
Carter
