This may sound silly but it's worth saying. The meager A/C in the E30 and E28 is barely up to the task of cooling the car in hot weather (over 90) and if you don't have the dial set to recirculate the cool air inside then they don't cool hardly at all. Make sure you have the dial set on recycled air and not on fresh air (I made this mistake with my first e28)
