Thanks Melvin, I was looking at the Crutchfield catalog and I was leaning on the Sony Xplod, anyway where did you place the 6 X 9's and the tweeters. Mine got only the 4 (5 1/4) speakers set up. You must have a newer E30.

Blapunkt makes a great head unit. However at this time they make but a few that matches the Dash. The best is the Sidney $229.00 at Crutchfield.com. The only problem with the sidney is it has a countoured face plate which just protrudes too much.
Sony exploid series sells for about the same price, has fewer features bud looks great inside the dash.

I installed the sony along with 2 6X9's, 4 - 5 1/4 and 2 factory tweeters. Hope this helps.
Someone posted a while back that Blaupunkt sells reconditioned one. Blaupunkt.com don't have the link to
the reconditioned system. Does anyone know the correct
web link? My cassette still works so I still have music and most of the aftermarket stereo don't match the my orange dash board that is why I'm looking for a
reconditioned one.
