Currently have an 90 325is. Bought it for $3500 with 140k. My problem is that the OBC has never worked. I,m just reading ----UHR and very faintly at that. Is it the bulbs I have to change or something else...Most importantly how the hell do I remove the covering for the obc. Thanks...bdm

Two things... "UHR" is German for HOUR. That's the default display if the battery dies or is unplugged. All ya gotta do is poke the recessed little button on the bottom right side of the OBC. Then use the 1000 100 10 1 buttons to make the time. Punch some buttons, you'll figure it out.
Checkout the tech section at www.bmwe30.net for a writeup on how to fix the OBC lights (which is causing the dim display).
