Hi All,

I just found a 1984 318i for sale. The car has a crack in the head. The interior and extior are in very goo shape. It haw PW,PL, sunroof etc. His daughter was driving it when they found out about the crack in the head. She needed a car ASAP so, he had plans to fix it. He has taken the to part of the engine off to evaluate the problems. The car has been repainted and has new tires and brakes and exhaust. He was asking $750 for it. I offered $500 and he has accepted. Now for the questions:

1 Is this a reasonable price for the car for someone with some limited skills at fixing autos?

2 If it is, what are some good places for parts, (engine, heads etc.)?

3 Any other help and advice on getting this project on the road.

Thanks

Mark
