2-3 hours work at most shops. if you can have the brake pads & rotors, control arms, tie rods or other work done at the same, you'll save yourself a bit on the combined bill.

also, bearings seem to fail about the same time - barring some trauma. so, the opposite side should be watched - or listened for.
