The fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank beneath the black cover plate which is located underneath your rear seats..you will still get low voltage signals to the pump if its bad, though sooner or later the ICU will shut it down..
as said before if its the pump, have the relay checked also..KENL 90 325i 92 325ic
