Someone please help!! My '91 318is has started fouling plugs and hesitating VERY BADLY below 3,000 rpm's. It's drivabilty is awfull!! I've replaced the plugs twice (with the correct ones), plug wires, ECU (because the original has a Dinan chip, thought it might have went bad),oxygen sensor, and checked (tested) the coil pack and all of the relays under the hood. I've also replaced all of the vaccum lines. With every fix I've done it seems to run fine for a few days, but then it comes back. Am I missing something? The engine only misses below 3grand (idle is fine most of the time), and it runs smooth above that. Thanks!

Did you check the fuel pump and the AFM?
