CAN'T START MY'89 E30 AFTER HI TEMP (archive)

my '89 E30 got very high temperature and the hand-brake light, the warning light and the battery light all come on, i then stop the car and add some water (i know it's not enough) after it got cooler and drive again and add the water till the tank is full, but this time it won't start at all, the battery is ok, but no starter sound at all.

anyone can help or give some advice
