I have a '89 320i with ABS. The battery was disconected for a few days, whilst I had the ECU replaced. After the battery was reconnected the ABS light stays on. I have checked all connections/fuses/relays. Is there any way of reseting it or getting it to tell me what it thinks is wrong?

I had this problem after having the car boosted due to a battery failure. My local BMW mechanic replaced the ABS relay and everthing works fine afterwards.
Try unplugging the relay and putting it back to see it it resets itself.
