Puting aftermarket wheels on a 84 325e and need about a half inch spacer and some longer bolts. Son bought some wheels 16x7 and they are set in about a half inch too far and they are non returnable. Please offer me an answer if you have one.

The wheels are obviously not for a BMW, do
you know what kind/year of car they were meant
for? Are you sure they're the same bolt pattern
as your BMW? Spacers are available in various
thicknesses, but the wheels have to have the same
4x100 bolt pattern and have the same 57.1mm
hubcentric centerbore as the BMW does. If the
hub and bolt pattern are correct, let me know
the brand/model of wheel, what they were made
for, and measure the exact backspace by laying
a straight-edge across the edges of the rim and
measure the distance down to the mounting surface.
