My wife loves these cars too and saw a 1990 325i auto. She had me go and see about it. It was pretty nice with a black top and non euro bumpers. And road rashed wheels 16inchers. They were 5 stars by designed by antera. I have not herd of this brand but hey.The tabs are up this month and the CD player looks funny. I meen the face was out but the unit that I saw was white.Anyway it did have leather. It was inside a fenced in area.So I did not get a great look at a vin# or pop the hood so . My questions are . What an I looking for when I check this sucker out and what is a fair price?I know all the engine checks but is their somthing about the convertibles I should know?Any help would be nice.My friends dad had a 93 convetible I think. It had a power top. the dang thing gave him nothing but trouble. it's a good thing he bought it pre-owned from BMW so the waranty couvered it all. I think when he finally sold the car and got an E36 conv. the bill was like $8000 for top repairs. I know this is an extreme and rare problem, but that is alot of money.
If you test drive the car, take it to a local car wash and spray down the top and around the windows to make sure that they don't leak.
