Removing the 200 lb bolt is only necessary if you want to replace the crankshaft oil seal.
Replacement of these seals are not a must, but many suggest replacing them every other belt change.

I am going to order the parts monday, does anyone have some suggestions on how it should be done. I own a haynes, chilton manuals they have conflicting info. Do I need to break a 200 pound bolt somewhere it says for the 5 series? Is it easy to take off the distributor cap and rotor should i mark the position of the parts? Thanks
