I'm a fan of TireRack, and after an extensive search for a good high performance all season tire, purchased a set of Firestone SH30's, for $54 ea. They're great in both wet and dry conditions. My driving plans don't include snow, but the TireRack customer survey rates it good.

By the way, I drive the same red car, and was glad I upgraded to 205's.
